In 2020, I stopped my child’s physical therapy and started focusing on fun and effective activities at home to keep her active. My aim was to enjoy time with her while helping her build muscles, enhance movement, improve balance, and meet her sensory needs.

I was really confused by all the information about different therapies & equipments. I couldn’t decide whether it was worth spending money on them. Then, I decided to just focus on what I believe in, PLAY.

Don’t forget about the free things that can help our kids with their stability, balance, and muscle strength. Things like inclined platforms, swings, and stairs at the park can make a big difference. We might think that only expensive equipment and therapy items can help our children, but that’s not true. Visiting the park every day has helped my child improve her muscle strength, balance, and other motor skills.
